Career Management or Career Coaching - The Approaches

Career management strategy and career coaching each assist careerists to be better at what they are already doing right in their jobs, careers, or career-building. Each provides advise on direction, pathways, what to do and how to do it. Each provides observations and feedback to bring needed awareness to front.

Career Management: generally includes developmental professional coaching, leadership mentoring, personal job performance steerage, behavioral insights, career vision, and big-picture strategy development and execution for career growth and recognition, transition and job search, and career advancement. It requires a longer-term investment.

Think of career management as a "deep-dive" discovery, visioning, assessment, and brand development or re-calibration based on where you've been and what you want for your longer-term future.

A research, developed and planned strategy is executed over weeks and up to three months in scheduled sessions. A collaborative partnership approach is undertaken. An online DiSC Work or Management Style Assessment is completed.

The coach is hands on and does much of the work for you.
